I know I keep telling everyone to promote, promote, promote, but seriously you should. I know I wouldn’t have made a fraction of the money I have with out all of my promotion efforts and the same goes for anyone in the article writing business.
Freelance Writing Tip: Give Out Business Cards. You can find very cheap and effective business cards online or at local printing shops. I had some printed with just a web address to one of my blogs. I think I paid around $10.00 total for a few hundred. I give them to people I talk to about being a writer, and I leave them on tables at resturants etc. I have managed to make a small chunk of cash this way and think its worth the consideration.
