Seasonal Writing

Published by faye12 at 10:12 pm under Writing Tips Edit This

If you are one of the many article writers out there that does the occasional seasonal article, this post is for you.  The tip today is: Write and publish at least one month early.  In some cases you will not need this much up front time and in some you will need more.

I started publishing articles on Christmas right around Halloween this year and have managed more views then I thought possible.  If you write pieces for Halloween, I would look at June or July to start publishing any technical articles, such as how to make a haunted house, etc, etc.  The shopping articles can go in right around the beginning of October.

Think about your target audience, what event you are writing for, time frame for people inquiring on event, and also think about the next holiday or event as you are publishing on the “current” event.  Happy Writing!
