Freelance Writing Tip #5

Published by faye12 at 9:39 am under Writing Tips Edit This

Hello to all.  I am up really early in the morning to write this post to help enhance the idea behind my writing tip for today.  The tip is: The early bird gets the worm.  Okay sowe have all heard it before.  But what does it have to do with my writing?  Well, taken at face value it simply means that the first to….. gets the prize.

When you research your topics, check to see what is fresh, new, interesting, and starting to get views.  This way you can a big piece of the pie on these types of articles instead of bits and pieces here and there.  If you  get in early then you will gain more from the peice you are writing.

Be a morning person.  I know, this sucks, but I find when I am up early in the morning I get more done, and have a clearer head( at least for a few hours).  I get all the daily have to’s out of the way, like checking my email, doing surveys, writing my daily blog posts, updating my promotions of recently published work, etc.  Then I have more of the day to commit to writing and fun.  Happy writing!
