Freelance Writing Tip #3

Published by faye12 at 10:47 pm under Writing Tips Edit This

The tip for today’s blog is this: Aquire good resources and keep them close at all times.   A writer is constantly on the look out for new writing ideas, and they need to be able to turn those ideas into works of article art.  Next is a list of suggestions.  This is the what and when section so pay attention.

1. Get a computer you can easily work with, take on the go, can perform the necessary tasks, and fits your personality.  I say the last becuase it is fun to have a computer that goes with your favorite accessories, and you should have this thing with you most of the time.

2. Find a notebook or journal that also fits your personality and a pen as well, put these with your computer.  Get a pocket sized scratch pad and a small writing implement for jotting down quick thoughts.  Carry this with you at all times, in a purse or pocket.

3. Bookmark your favoite open source dictionaries, encyclopedias, and other writing tools.  Also buy these and keep them where you work on your writing at home.

Happy article writing.
