Freelance Writing Tip #1

Published by faye12 at 10:54 pm under Writing Tips Edit This

For all the freelance article writers out there, this series is for you.  Although this information may be helpful to other writers, it will be targeted towards the freelance article writer.  For those of you looking into publishing your own books yourself, check back later, as I am currently researching that topic.

Okay, first tip, write what you are passionate about.  Not only should you write what you know and about your experiences, but write about the subjects among those things that you have strong feelings for.  Both positive and negative feeling will work as long as they are strong feelings.  Just because you know how to change a tire does not mean you should write an article about it.  If auto mechanics is what you love by all means write away, but if your main interest is scrap-booking then I doubt your going to come up with an article for the tire that is good as one about page designs.  Making money is great and all, but you will make a lot more of it if you are writing very piece at your best quality level.  Happy writing!
