Summer is just around the corner along with all the great things we enjoy doing in wonderful weather. Fortunatley, summer also brings a number of writing opportunities with it. I say, go out and enjoy your local events such as, rodeos, sales, fairs, races, etc. And after you have seen a great show, write about it.
Another great way to use these events to your advantage is to write a schedule of these things. I know that I would sure appericiate a schedule of craft fairs. Get out and enjoy yourself this summer and gain a whole array of ne things to write about. Happy Writing!

It is that wonderful time of the year when the snow is finally gone and the sun is shining. It can be very hard to concentrate on your writing at this time of the year as we would all like to just be outside enjoying the great weather in our own ways. Here are a few suggestions that you may find will help clear up this little problem and still be able to enjoy the weather.
First try to do the bulk of your writing in the early morning or later evening hours when the weather is less enjoyable.
Work on your writing for a little while at a time and then go enjoy yourself for a while and come back to work on it later.
Write about in topics that help get you excited about the season and your writing, such as: Summer Fashion, Gardening tips, Outdoor crafts, Travel Guides, and so on and so forth.

The spring season is always a great time to get a lot done. Organizing your writing, and your finances are among the most important for us writers. Sit down and take a look at all of your published writing and see if there is anything you can do to revamp it or make it more effective. I also like to make a list of writing ideas for the year to come, if I can. I find this to be useful when I don’t have anything to write about or I am having trouble focusing on my topics. It is, of coarse, a great planning tool as well.
When it comes to the finances, balance out all of your accounts, get your taxes done, and make sure of your files are accurate and up to date. It seems as we should be doing this all of the time, and we should, but after the holiday season things can have become a bit messy. Happy Spring.

First I wish to answer my readers comments. You ask submit what and to where. Well……………Submit Content! Writing is mainly what I am talking about as it is a writing blog, but content could also be videos, pictures, slideshows, etc. As far as where, your website, blog, or other websites in which you submit content.
Which brings me to my new about me page. Some of you may ask where and what do I submit. I ,for the time being, submit my writing. On my new about me page there are links to all of the places where you may view my writing.
The new about me page is a great place to catch all of my writing and to find any updates of mine. I will be taking a break in a few days in order to move, so I may not be adding anything new for a week or two. In the mean time check out my about me page to get caught up on all my past work. Thanks for reading!

I am always on people about promoting thier content and we all should, but we must have something to promote. That something in our case, article/blog writers, needs to be a new something as often as possible. Constantly submitting new content is what we all need to do in order to make money and thrive in this business.
Freelance Writing Tip: Submit, Submit, Submit. And once you have done so, submit some more, taking the time to promote each thing. Not only should you submit as often as possible, you should do so on some kind of a schedule that will draw daily traffic to your content. I tend to submit a couple things everywhere that I write and publish from at least a couple of times a week.

Hello to all of my happy and humble online writers, and anybody else out there reading. Today’s blog post is about doing research. I am not talking about hunkering down for a week pouring over one hundred books and around a thousand papers. I am talking about the research needed to sound at least as if you know what your writing about.
Freelance Writing Tip: Do Your Research. It doesn’t take rocket science to write an article about a product or peson etc. But when you do, make sure you have the facts straight. I have read so many peices of online writing lately that has many factual mistakes. It seems as though some readers have lost thier caring for accuracy as long as the ads are getting clicked. That is all well and good, but you loose your traffic and you will gain no ad clicks by publishing false information. You can also get in big trouble wih the law. Come on people, just google it for crying out loud.

This mixture is sure to chase away those nasty headaches and relax you as well. This “tea” is not recommended for ingestion and should only be used in the bath tub. The ingredients in this mixture will not only help get rid or headaches and relax you but can make you a bit sleepy, so I recommend using this tub tea in the evening.
Chamomile Flowers, dried
Lavender Flowers, dried
St. Johns Wort, dried
Patchouli Bark, dried
Mix equal parts of all ingredients in a sealable container, package as desired. When using this tub tea, put a tablespoon of this mixture into a tea bag or a square of netting and seal or tie closed. Add to the running water in your bath tub and relax for at least fifteen minutes in the water.

This is a basic recipe for making your own hand soap at home. You will need to choose essential or fragrance oils to add to it. I highly recommend using essential oils. Some of my favorites are lavender, chamomile, and grapefruit. You may add more then one but be sure to go easy, you don’t want to add too much or your soap won’t turn out.
Clear glycerin melt and pour soap base
Essential oil
Melt the soap base in a double boiler. When it is completely melted, add your chosen essential oil and mix well. Pour into your mold or molds and let set completely. Unmold and cut if necessary. Wrap in plastic for storage.
